Fantastic property perfect for families and get-togethers

The property has plenty of space, and is perfect for family and friend get-togethers. All rooms have en-suites which is ideal.The kitchen, dining and living room are very spacious, and offer excellent settings for social gatherings. There is a separate snug area which is perfect for kids to enjoy themselves. Short walk to lake Windermere and the town of Windermere. Short drive from Ambleside.

Needing accommodation for 10 persons covering three generations. Corner Cottage provides ample room when everyone wants to be together and ample refuge when they want some quiet time. On arrival, the whole place was spotless. Very well equipped for short or long stays. Ample entertainment for children. With four en-suite rooms (including one out-and-out family room and one with double bed plus sofabed) there is no bathroom peak-time congestion. Close to Windermere village, convenience shopping, and eating out is at hand. And of course, the glories of the Lake District start at the doorstep and stretch as far as your inclinations take you.

Location was really ideal and bus stop just in front of house made us easy to get tour bus to see around Grasmere, Windermere and bowness.. clean and enough spacious house.

A lovely cottage in a very central position for the Lakes. The cottage accommodated 9 plus dog easily, but the garden was not very young-child or animal friendly, and the close proximity to the road meant it was quite noisy.
