「We had a wedding in the area and this place was perfect for our needs. There’s a bar to the front of the property, which was fun to hang out and play pool. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.」

「The motel was clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Staff went out of way to be helpful even for disabled.」

「The hotel is clean and the service is good, but the soundproofing is not very good」

「We had a nice stay at the Black Bear. Great location and Kim was very accommodating.」

「This property was clean and has been updated somewhat. That said, it still needs additional TLC as does much of Tannersville. The motel was my home base for hiking and exploring the area. It worked for that, but otherwise the room was in need of some TLC as was the exterior.」

「Wasn’t to impressed. Run down looking」

「Booked for two nights, left after one. The room was fine- clean, no funky smells, clean bathroom newer mattresses and HVAC. As a solo female traveler, I just didn’t feel great about the location, lack of on-site staff, and door locks. A no-frills, roadside motel was not for me, but could be fine for you.」
