"I would 100% stay here again! The rooms were super cute and clean, the staff were super friendly and the homemade breakfast was delicious!!! We also got a tour of the Monmouth House and the lady was very knowledgeable!!! The grounds were very nice and relaxing!"

"We hadn't expected to book a place like this but we were so pleased we did since it was so beautiful and peaceful. The views when the sun set and rise were extraordinary with the river in perfect view. I loved drinking coffee while watching barges go by. The tiny home had everything we needed and more from plenty of towels to comfortable furniture inside and out on the deck. The bed was firm and the whole place was very clean. It looks brand new and had nicer kitchen cookware than most. There are no cooking supplies like condiments or oils or S&P but we ordered out which was convenient as there were a few options close by. They did provide some coffee Pods and powdered creamer I believe. We booked on the same day which may have messed up our check in email with the code to get in but we got a response immediately when we texted about needing help getting in. Our friend stayed at a hotel and paid more than what we did and didn't get all the amenities we had. We plan on returning to stay here again."

"This was an incredible home. By far, the cleanest most well-maintained historic home I’ve ever stayed or eaten in. And better maintained than 95% of the tours I have toured as well. Gloria was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and the property was perfect —a 10 out of 10. I also want to know that the value of staying in this Home is very significant most places at this caliber cost more."

"8 of us came up for our annual two day fishing tournament on Lake Bruin. The property was perfect for us. We could have definitely slept more than 8, but 4 trucks hooked to boats was about the max we could fit to park. We enjoyed the open floor plan kitchen and living area. It was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and I plan to for our annual trip next year."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. For some reason we were under the impression that we could swim or cool off in the water. Not the case. Not sure where the fault lies but it is/was not an option. The rest of the rental was as described."
