The location served as our base for exploring Glendalough, which was one of the top places to see on our 3-week trip, as well as Powerscourt Gardens, Waterfall, and other attractions such as Lough Tay and the bridge from the movie, "P.S. “Stayed here from November 23 to November 29th 2025 with my daughter. This property was absolutely Perfect!It was spotless, great beds, lots of towels even shampoo. Every essential you can imagine was provided even down to Washing Machine pods to do your laundry. The kitchen was spotless with lots of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans etc... “The Ladybird Chalet was beautiful inside! Very Comfortable and plenty of room for our family of 6. Such a welcome sight after a long road trip. We arrived late at night and our host stayed up to cheerfully greet us. We could not locate any potholders or dish towels, so the hostess was so kind to bring what we needed while we were out and also blessed us with some delicious snack cake. Overall, we had a great stay!”
