Parking was not easy and most of all, there was no hot water at 4am when we had to leave for our flight.

I was surprised that they did not service my room after the first night! Cmon this is a Fairmont! I had to ask them to do it! Valet service was understaffed and I had to wait 25’mins for my car upon departure.

Perfect downtown location. The attached Parkside is great and the hotel has a classy vibe at a very reasonable price. Will stay here again.

Room was clean, service was great. Toilet was running constantly, mattress on the bed is old and used and made you sink towards the middle. Tried to have a hot shower but the water wouldn’t get hot. Room could use an update for the price you pay.

I have stayed here off and on for walking to events. And EVERY time the rooms are HOT HOT HOT. You can turn the air on and it makes ZERO difference. Winter summer spring..... We keep our door open to the hallway as its a pleasant temp.. but eventually ya have to close the door. Stifling!

I couldn't believe how low quality the room felt for the price. Furniture was beaten up, bathroom looked like it was from the 80's. The bed felt like it was barely standing up. It has a side mini fridge with no mini bar option. The only nice thing was the LeLabo soap. The rest was the quality of an old Holiday Inn

We chose this hotel based on Fairmont brand of luxury hotels. It sadly did not live up to the brand There was no hot water in room and the air conditioning did not work. The vents blew out warm air. The windows were not able to open even a little to let fresh air in so it was very stuffy and hot. This was reported and they sent someone after waiting two hours and having to request twice. Maintenance got the hot water working but very little improvement with the warm air/AC unit. There was a thick layer of dust on the TV stand and the bed did not have a fitted sheet! It had just a flat sheet thrown over mattress and tucked under. None of Ice machines worked on any floor (trust I went to every floor in search of ice). This was reported to front desk and two hours later they brought the ice I requested. The only vending machine on the property was completely sold out. When this was mentioned I was advised it was not their machine so they could not do anything about it. I will say that overall the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Though there was a strange interaction with one of the cleaning staff. I advised her that I did not require cleaning and did not want to be disturbed. She then became very pushy insisting she had to come in the room to punch a code in the phone. I had to state again firmly that I did not want to be disturbed in order for her to leave. I did get a nice call from front desk asking if my concerns had been addressed but I would not stay here again.

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect. We upgraded to Fairmont Gold as it was my birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. We had complimentary Prosecco, cheesecake in lounge, cakes in room. Everyone treated us like royalty. We will definitely stay here next time we are in winnipeg. Thank you. I left our staff reviews on 19th floor where we dined for breakfast and snacks. Thank you
