“We chose this property because of the age (1740s farmhouse) and convenient location in the southern Berkshires only 15 minutes or so from Great Barrington. The house did not disappoint. It is a very charming farmhouse in excellent condition for its age and with modern amenities. As we only had four adults, there was plenty of room to spread out. The property is very private off the main road with beautiful surroundings. We only wish the weather were cooler or we would have enjoyed a wonderful……

The host greeted us on arrival and graciously invited us to enjoy the entire pristine grounds during our stay, including the stunning pool/ patio at the main house adjacent to the cottage. She couldn’t have been sweeter and made herself available for anything we needed. We loved our stay at Whispering Estate and would definitely be back!”

“Beautiful “farmhouse” style home - the photos really don’t do it justice. Serene, peaceful setting. Only downside is that the closest grocery/restaurants are 20 plus minutes away. But since we wanted a remote, peaceful location, it was *perfect.*. Hosts are super friendly and helpful with questions. The pellet stove made for a very cozy stay. Thank you!”

“Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! “Linny's cottage was the most comfortable & welcoming VRBO property we have ever visited! It was instantly apparent that our hostess had put a lot of effort into how to put guests at ease. Every possible need was anticipated and provided for. Additional welcoming efforts included her QŔ code that provided guests with local information and recommendations. A package of cookie mix was waiting and the butter needed to make the cookies was waiting in the fridge.The front deck, set up with 2 tables, 6……
