Free bus shuttle steps from door to ski slopes/mountain biking & everywhere. 1 1/2 min drive to Main St or short walk & only a few minute drive to slopes. Home has many new upgrades & renovations (completed July 2019). Two entirely new high- end bathrooms, custom granite sinks, and custom notty alder vanities, high end Toto toilet, all new time and fixtures and brand new large capacity washer and dryer. very classy, New curtains throughout, high-end linens & bedding, New custom made queen/queen log bunk beds with high-end new memory foam mattress, newly renovated deck, new hickory hardwood floors in kitchen & tvs in all rooms.

Double ovens and all the necessities you could possibly need for cooking/baking. New Slab Granite countertops and granite kitchen table. There are 3 coffee makers to appease everyone’s tastes, a Keurig, a regular coffee maker and a French press.
The family room is very cozy with 3 full length very comfortable couches and the table is filled with games galore! The fallow deer chandelier adorns this room. Rock wall w mantel surrounds the real log fireplace but renters need to buy their own wood which is sold at many stores around if we approve fires which we will let you know prior to arrival. Off the family room is our large deck. A great extension of living space. The covered part of the deck has a very high-end stainless steel Lynx Grill and benches to sit and a mini fridge. Step down a sto from the covered deck onto our really large deck which has our newest addition of a 3 person chair lift mounted on our deck that is from the first ski resort in the nation from Sun Valley Idaho. Outstanding views of the ski slopes and Continental Divide. Lights surround the deck every evening. A wonderful place to eat meals, coffee and the peaceful surroundings.
Back inside the home is a log staircase that leads to 2 rooms that are mountain themes. One room has brand new custom-made Queen/Queen Log bunk beds with high end memory foam mattresses. Very comfy and very roomy. Moose themed room.
The next bedroom has a custom made log queen bed. Surge protectors to plug in all you need are located in every room of the home.
Our home has a new huge main floor master suite with vaulted ceilings, 2 ceiling fans, amazing views of slopes & Continental Divide, a king sized comfy bed, a couch that opens into a bed, a desk for a work space, 65” tv, and a private bathroom with large jacuzzi tub /Shower surrounded by granite walls and European shower doors w a granite sink to match the walls. There’s also a fold out twin bed and a pack & play if needed. There’s also a highchair, booster chair, etc for the little ones and books and games for all ages, from baby and toddler to adult.
Our Personal items of rustic decor add to the charm of this log home. A True CO experience. Large driveway! World class skiing & 600 miles of mountain bike trails. We can assist w guiding you to many of the places you would like to see or go according to your interests and budget. We like to help guide our guests in planning a great getaway.
Enjoy summers & free Thursday night concerts at our new Amphitheater 1 1/2 min drive or short walk from our home and free Friday night concerts at the outdoor shopping and dining mall at bottom of our hill. The popular wine fests, beer fests, fairs, golfing, ATV, hiking & Biking, a day at the hot Sulpher springs and so many outdoor adventures. Walk to the Village of shops, concert stage, skateboard/bike park, restaurants, fireworks, hiking, ATV, parks etc. Don’t forget the popular Rocky Mountain national Forest. From world Class skiing just a few minutes away & many winter activities to summertime in the mountains, Winter Park has to offer.
Our home has a completely private separate apartment with its own driveway & entrance to the house occasionally occupied but totally private from the rest of the home. The only thing shared would be an occasional parking space on tthe large driveway to the main house which holds 3-4 cars in Winter and 4-5 cars in summer.
We have Handiman or we can be reached for anything you may need at anytime just a call away.
We try to accommodate our renters with a 5 star experience and we enjoy helping our guests to plan and provide any info on the many attractions around town, we will guide you to the best places for what you are hoping to experience during your stay. We have been so fortunate to have met the most wonderful people from around the world, many who have been back to stay more than a few times, and we look forward to hosting you! We have been in Winter Park for over 20 years and can help guide you to many places you may not know exist that you may love.
Upon departing we ask that you strip all sheets off beds & put them and all towels near the washers/dryers. Load washer with towels first and start. Load and start dishwasher,wipe down counters & take out all trash from all rooms out to our dumpster located next to our second driveway.
Essential supplies are in the home upon your arrival. We do not re-supply.
Before arriving you will be given a code to open and close the door when coming and going and the code for our animal proof dumpster. Sometimes we may be there & check you in and would love to meet our guests and see if there are anything else you need that we can lend you during your stay. Our goal is the help make your vacation one to remember and go out of our way to assist, help plan or set up things if it’s a special occasion😊
