Cozy, 1 bed Condo, 2 Blocks from Downtown, on Bus Rt Short Term License # 004821

  • Tucked away near the Fraser river, this first floor 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo is the perfect place to make a fire and relax after a long day of skiing. With enough room to accommodate up to four guests, this condo can be inviting to an adventurous family of four or a quaint retreat for a couple of two with the free ski shuttle stopping just feet away from the doorstep. While enjoying the serene peacefulness of Winter Park, you can sip coffee on the deck or enjoy a healthy breakfast cooked from the full kitchen at the breakfast table. Put your feet up and relax while watching your favorite show or sneak away to the bedroom for some solitude and space.

When your legs are tired from ripping bumps on the Mary Jane side, the brand new Hi Country Haus Recreation Center is just steps away. If your hungry the picnic and grill area is right outside the clubhouse and can be used for some family fun, weather permitting. The kids can play a game of volleyball and run around on the playground while the adults sip on drinks, play a game of horseshoes or sit around the gas fire place. In the summer time walk over to Hideaway park for free live music, or attend one of the awesome music festivals Winter Park has to offer.

If hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing or x-country skiing sounds fun, Meadow Trail is just beyond the recreation center and offers miles of trails for your pleasure. If movies, bowling, sledding or alpine sliding sounds enticing, you can be bowling a turkey or watching the latest flick within minutes via a car, the free shuttle or your own two feet.

This 1 bedroom apartment is part of a multi-lodge set-up. Kinda like staying at motel where everyone accesses their room from the outside of the building. Great set-up, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom. Was a great spot to relax between summer outings. We hiked a couple of different trails, then found respite at our rental. We used the club house to clean clothes, enjoy the hot tub, pool, and large TV for watching a world cup game. The club house vibe is similar to a hostel, where multiple different groups are renting spaces and can meet fellow travelers. Our host was very good at communicating and helped with an unforeseen issue.

It was the perfect spot in Winter Park. I had a great stay. Everything was there that I needed even the fire was ready to light it. All it needed was the match lit that was stuck in it! Definitely would stay there again!

My boyfriend & I were able to find the property right away! Instructions were given ahead of time & made our check in/out very easy. The condo was super cozy & clean. The location is peaceful & quiet. We also enjoyed the hot tub while it snowed a little. We would definitely come back!

Great condo, good communication with owner

We were there for a wedding at Headwaters. This condo was close and convenient. The place was a little older, but with a newer bathroom and many amenities provided. Owner was easy to reach by text when we had questions. My first VRBO experience was a good one!

Good price

The property was generally comfortable, clean, and adequate for the price. Great location. Only drawback was that there was a problem with heat, so we were a bit chilly for a couple of days. Informed the owner and they promptly called the HOA to look into it. HOA delivered a space heater which helped a lot.

Very convenient

This unit is very convenient for access to Winter Park Resort with a shuttle stop just steps away from the unit. It had all the amenities that my son and I needed. The newly updated rec center is a plus. Hosts were good communicators throughout the process. We did notice some spots in the property that could have been cleaner.

I like the location of the property. What I did not like: the heating was not functioning well. It was very cold outside and we could not make the heat go more than 70 degrees. . Also, when we came to the apartment. it was freezing cold and it took more that 24 hours for some heat to kick in.
