The Cabin on Dexter Pond is a cozy camp that sits on the border of Wayne & Winthrop. It is a peaceful getaway. Enjoy sitting on the porch watching the ducks and loons swim by. Sit by the campfire and roast oMarshmallows. Hike Mt. Pisgah, visit the quaint town of Wayne and have lunch. Bring your fishing pole and kayak the day away. located in central Maine, and lots to see and do. Spend the day at the ocean. There is something for everyone close by. Shops, Vineyards, hiking, Many farm stands to purchase your fresh grown produce. We are 1 hour from the ocean and the Mountains! You can even take a trip less than an hour away and go to the casino. To busy for you? Bring a book and rest in the hammock. Are you a Cabin Master Fan? The Kennebec Cabin Company, Home of The Cabin Masters is in Manchester, Maine and is 20 minutes away.

The cabin is quaint and very clean. Having use of their kayaks and canoe made for a fun afternoon. The loft was a bit tricky for my husband and I to go up and down. Actually, it was hilarious. Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. All in all, it’s a great little getaway spot.
