“Huon Creek Retreat exceeded expectations. Quiet and private with magical views. It was the perfect country getaway, with cows and sheep all around. Loved everything about our stay, the highlights were the heated spa and firepit, both offered stunning panoramic views especially sunset. Overall, the property is well kept with a lot of personal touches, thoughtfully catering for families, comfy King beds, clean and equipped with everything you need. “Lovely cottage just what we were expecting. Plumbing needs looking at in bathrooms as water ponds and very slow running away. Cottage interior nicely renovated with quality fittings. My only criticism being the exterior garden and grounds being very untidy requires a good clean up .”

“At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals.……

“This lovely house it’s bigger than what we thought, very comfortable and cozy. The owner prepare everything for us so we could have a warm stay. Our children loved feeding the animals in the property. Very close to MyrtleFord center. We definitely recommend staying here.”

“This was a lovely spacious property, air con and fans in all rooms, a really lovely garden area, Pet friendly if needed. Our only hiccup was prior to the booking i messaged the owner, he never responded to my text. When we arrived at the property another group was in the house and unpacking! This gave us a scare! They had the wrong date (month), all was rectified and they left. I think ot might have been a better idea for the owner to have sent the code to the key box out nearer to the booking……
