“This B and B was simply amazing from top to bottom. Ann, our host was easily available before and during our stay. Our room was immaculate and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful with many different sitting areas in a park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Ann went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made many good suggestions for our visit to Ypres. We highly recommend this B and B! ”

“Check in was not smooth at all. I was expected to reach out to the host. No welcome email from them. I had to meet the host in person to get my key for the unit. Most properties these days have a lock box or passcode system. Would not be such a big deal however I had to work around the hosts schedule. I wanted to meet at 18:00. They told me I would need to meet between 16:00 and 17:00 so I had to interrupt the activity I was doing. There was also no communication that the only way to pay was……

“Excellent family run hotel close to the market square. All the staff are friendly helpful and always smiling. Our room was spotless and kept very clean during our 7 night stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. ”

“Reception was very pleasant, but room was bland and cold. Room requires thermostat on radiator - when turned on it heated the room well but then needed to be turned off before the room got too hot. Room needs decoration such as pictures on wall - bland white walls. King bed was two singles pushed together and a sheet over the top. We arrived in the dark and it was raining. Carpark is not lit well and I nearly drove into the fishpond! Saving feature was the restaurant food, which was……

“I stayed here one night when we were doing WWI battlefield tours. This was a wonderful find. So much world war one memorabilia. The rooms were simple but comfortable. Shared bathrooms were clean and quite private. The grounds and the home are just beautiful. Very much in keeping with the theme of our trip. Highly recommend it. ”

“De plaats en omgeving waren super. Geweldig uitzicht! Het eten was ook heel lekker. Alleen jammer dat er geen "simpele" of andere gerechten, naast die van de menu te verkrijgen waren. Het is een groen hotel, maar airco of andere verfrissing tijdens de warme dagen waren nodig. Ook mocht de kamer een update krijgen. De bedden en de kussens waren dan wel weer aangenaam. Over het algemeen fijn verblijf, met heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. We misten enkel wat comfort.”
