“Acceptable distance from Apollo Bay centre. Good outlook but facilities were just simple. Space of the smaller room in the apartment can’t accommodate luggages while the sitting & dinning areas are sizeable. When we woke up in the morning, there was a sudden suspension of power supply for the whole apartment. We immediately called the host who said the whole district was affected. He didn’t call back to update information. Fortunately, power supply resumed around 35 mins later. We learnt that……

“Blue Ocean Motel – Don’t Judge a Book by Its... Exterior Paint Job Okay, real talk: when we first pulled into the Blue Ocean Motel, I had a full-blown “oh no, what have I done?” moment. From the outside, it looked like it might star in a retro horror film called Motel Misery. BUT—big but here—the moment we stepped inside, all our fears vanished faster than free Wi-Fi on a family road trip. The rooms? Spotless. Clean, comfy beds that didn’t feel like they were borrowed from a 1980s hospital……

“Susan and Trevor (the hotel operators) are very nice. Susan has kindly introduced the beautiful tourist spots and nice scenary nearby, which is an addditional treat. The room is clean and tidy.”
