"Room was very clean, the A/C was ice cold, the bed was amazing and the ease of check-in/check-out fabulous! We loved the key pad lock system on the door (no actual card to keep up with) and communication by email from front desk. We were very busy, so it was nice to be able to focus on what we were there to do, not worry about front desk hours. You can tell it’s an older travel motel that has been newly renovated, it has no frills, but the deco is super clean and the retro-vibe is fun. Highly recommend!"
"Rooms felt dirty. The room my coworker was staying in had water stains on the dresser. Her sink would not drain. My sink's faucet was loose and not well secured. Upon entering the room it smelt like cheap cleaning products."

If you’re looking for a luxury experience, keep driving. If you’re looking for an adventure survival challenge, the Days Inn in Starkville, Mississippi might be right up your alley.
From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a hotel and more like the set of a low-budget horror movie. The cracks around the door were so large that I half expected a family of raccoons to check in without a reservation. The smell in the room hit us like a freight train, and the bed was so hard I’m pretty sure it was poured from concrete.
Cleanliness appeared to be more of a suggestion than a requirement. Dirty towels were already decorating the room when we arrived, and the roaches seemed much more comfortable there than we were. At least they looked like repeat customers.
The fold-out bed was a masterpiece of neglect—rusty, filthy, and possibly old enough to qualify for historical preservation. Sleeping on it felt like losing a fight with a shopping cart.
The refrigerator didn’t work, which was unfortunate because my drinks were warmer than the room’s welcome. The phone didn’t work either, so if we needed help, I guess we were expected to send smoke signals.
The surrounding area added a nice touch of suspense. Every trip to the parking lot felt like the opening scene of a true crime documentary.
Overall, this stay had everything: broken appliances, mystery odors, uninvited insect roommates, and a bed that doubled as a chiropractic challenge. If you’re cons"
"Stay here for our visit at MSU. The location was perfect for getting to MSU and sort of in the middle of town. We were able to explore Starkville easily and the staff was very helpful with advice and suggestions! Very clean and plenty of parking, couldn’t ask for more!"
"Room smells like mildew. Dirty towel left in bathroom. Used soap and hair in bathtub. Pool was nasty. Only one towel and washcloth, had to ask for additional. No hand towel or bath mat."
"Such a cute and relaxing place to stay! The host was kind and communicative. The home was close to MSU and a perfect fit for our family. Would definitely stay again!"
