"Rooms were clean, parking was safe"

"Staff were lovely but hotel very tired especially the bathroom where the tiles were a disgrace. The food at the restaurant was very average, drinks expensive and no breakfast included at this Holiday Inn. Much more could be done with the outside area beside the bar and restaurant which was just dirty, hard seating and in need of a refurbishment. The 3 dollar airport transfer fee was reasonable and the driver very prompt and helpful. "

"Room could have been cleaner especially in a suite. There was bandaid rubbish in the floor and build up around the plug hole in the bath. Convenience to the airport is fantastic "

"Room was very spacious. Very clean. Well equipped with tea and coffee and a fresh milk. Big shower. Loved the room. Staff felt a bit generic, not a lot of personality apart from the lady restaurant supervisor at breakfast. Had 2 meals. They were ok. Menu was a little bit narrow. Wasn't asked if meal was ok both times,but they were. The shuttle wasn't explained ie where and to hand ticket in at an office.but minor issues...it was a great stay in a huge comfortable room."

"Clean room. Easy after hours checkin/out. Great bed. Everything I needed for an overnight stay. Close to airport."

"We found the hotel somewhat run down, definitely in need of a major renovation. The hallways were dark, the room was very dated and bleak. The bed was squeaky, the food in the restaurant was not good and it was quite noisy down the hallways. On a positive note it was close to the Airport, there were laundry facilities available and they had a free shuttle to the Airport. In my view this hotel was not even close to an 8.6 which it was rated."
