"Very clean room. Mattress was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes, and I am short, hard for this senior to get in the bed. It was so noisy at night, had the room right next to the stairs, noise didn’t stop until 3am. No sleep for both nights. Shower was slippery and no grab bars. The window was closed but the cold air still came in. No instructions for tv, didn’t know how to work it. Just because I am a senior doesn’t mean I shouldn’t enjoy my stay. "

"This is a great value for the price, especially for a two-bedroom ADU in Redwood City. The space is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, an induction burner, coffee maker with coffee, creamer & sugar, and a large dorm-style fridge, which worked well for everyday meals. Linens were clean, beds were comfortable, and the unit feels thoughtfully set up despite a DIY build style.The shared, enclosed backyard with AstroTurf is nice and worked well for a short stay with my dog - we had enough room to play ball with her. I never felt unsafe during my stay. Some of the gates and doors can be a bit finicky to close, but it didn’t impact comfort or peace of mind.Communication with the host was excellent — responsive, clear, and easy throughout. Overall, a solid, comfortable option and a very good value for what you’re paying."
