A great place for squidding - we caught many off the jetty. If you are looking for more of a beach stay (sand for young kids etc) this is probably not it.”

“Comfortable clean welcoming home with easy parking right on the beach with bedrooms and lounge areas overlooking the sea across the Bay to Edithburgh with unobscured views of wind turbines. Great for walks on the beach with Pelicans, Swans, and other bird life there daily. Just a short drive to the historic township of Edithburgh where all needed facilities are present. Guy and Julie are great hosts, available and easy to contact. The new 75-inch Samsung TV and ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1……

“Thought the location and setting was a 10/10. The living areas and the outdoor entertaining area were relaxing and picturesque, with great views of the wharf, town and beach landscape. Plenty of linen and utensils supplied. Downsides were a few…. The steep staircase was difficult to traverse easily, and lacked safety gates for night time for someone in unfamiliar surroundings. Barbecue was not maintained with starter inoperative and lighter in kitchen was out of gas - luckily its walking……

“Great location, spacious and completely enclosed with fencing which gave peace of mind that our dog would be secure, and the showers are amazing! There is no Wi-Fi in an area that receives limited cell service which made communication and planning difficult. Foxtel is provided, so the entertainment aspect is covered.”

“Lovely shack, well equipped, clean and close to the beach. The free WiFi was great! Would suggest adding some pedestal fans to the bedrooms as there is no AC in those rooms and it could get quite hot at night during the summer.”
