“Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.”

We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home.”

“My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food.……

“This apartment is as described, however the view is breathtaking. The sun through the trees in the morning and the evening sun reflecting on the mud flats are equally beautiful. The owner leaves detailed instructions and is available if needed. I highly recommend this rental.”

“What a lovely cottage. Close to everything, but tucked away from the busy streets. Lovely landscaping around the property. Beautifully furnished. Comfy bed is always important & that it was. Nice facing sofas for chatting and chilling after a long day of hiking. Bookcase holds fascinating books. Kitchenette has all you need to make your stay comfortable. “Our stay at this property was wonderful. It had all the amenities you need. We loved the kitchen as we cooked a complete Thanksgiving dinner there. Everything was immaculate and we love this area of Boothbay. The owners are great and the property manager was fabulous when we ran into a car problem and she arranged another night for us so we could make alternate plans to get home. We would definitely stay here again if available”

“The property is new and clean. The view of the ocean is lovely and it was very quiet there. It is very close to the main house so not sure how private it would be if someone was staying at the main house at the same time especially since the window facing the main house has no shade. The kitchen is well stocked but wish they had some non stick pans. The listing states that there is a dishwasher but that is not accurate. There was none. It is a 10 - 15 minute drive to Moody's Diner. We did get……

“We had a great time staying at this location. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else. Cabinets, shelves, and drawers were labeled for ease of finding things. It was well-stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and the like. Appliances were functional. “This apartment is just a block away from Bowdoin, and conveniently located to everything in Brunswick. The apartment could use a bit of attention in some places, but overall it's very comfortable and there is lots of space for everyone to enjoy.”

“We had a great stay. Check in and communication was easy. Due to storm damage, our original booked cottage was not available and Deb offered us a different (much larger) home without added cost. We greatly appreciated it so we didn't have to cancel our vacation. The home was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. The area is beautiful and the beach was very clean. You cannot beat the views from the home. We look forward to staying here again!”
