“We had a wonderful experience at "Fantasy Island," where we had come for a family gathering. The caretakers, Cathy, Dylan and Aleia were attentive and caring. Dylan and Aleia were fantastic in helping our four grandchildren aged 7-10 with zip-lining across the pond, even when it started raining! The many other activities they offer outside (swimming, boating, hiking, visiting the animals, etc) and inside (playing pool, ping-pong, air hockey, etc.) kept everyone engaged. It's a fun place and……

“Went up to Vermont for a music festival in Montpelier. The host was excellent and responsive to all questions within minutes of texting. Place was clean, quiet neighbors, with great proximity to downtown Stowe, and Montpelier. Burlington, was a little bit further west but, still within 45 minutes driving. Beds were enormous, comfortable mattress and bedding clean and fresh. Shaws and upscale Market 32 by Price Chopper were within a 10 minute drive in either direction from condo. Clean bathroom,……

“We cancelled our reservation due to some cleanliness issues. The owner was grateful they were brought to his attention and he was very responsive. He indicated they will be addressed. Bedroom is very small. Better for children.”

“There was an issue with the door lock and the host had it fixed within the day, so that was nice.”

“The house was built in 1900. It was very cozy and the perfect place to relax with family after a day out.”

“The check in process, and check out was super easy. The house is cozy, and clean and the sauna is very cool!”

“The apartment was good and confortable. The location very remote, away from the village center, the entrance to the apartment was in very bad shape, no path, we had to clime over stones to get to the door , the grass not cut. Not completly satisfied.”

“The small apartment is quirky and cute! It has everything you need and is in such an awesome location. It’s attached to a larger rental house, so you may hear the other folks and will see them in the backyard. The kitchen is fine for a quick snack but not set up to cook a meal. Courtney was responsive when the WiFi was out; it was fixed in a day. We had a great visit to Stowe!”

“The only positives of the property is its size and location. Property not clean and left after an issue with some sort of flies swarming in one of the bedrooms. Expedia was informed of cleanliness issues after check in and would supposedly inform host. Never heard from host until after they were informed of check out immediately after issue with flies. I certainly would not recommend staying there.”

“My girlfriend and i drove from Maine to Maryland and Maryland to Vermont. We get to the VRBO around 11:30pm, go get food and come back. The way we were supposed to enter wasn't all the way clear but once i got inside, all the doors were wide open. We turned on all the lights as we were pretty worried but we went downstairs again and even though the house was supposed to be empty, we heard footsteps in the house walking back and forth. We weren't told there might be someone else there with us. I……
