This was not our first trip to Barbados or the Blue Orchid Beach Hotel and it won’t be our last. This hotel is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants, supermarket and even to a few stores for shopping. As far as the staff goes, from the manager down to the security guards everybody is friendly and outgoing. As I sit here writing this thinking about going back the country and the hotel maybe I’ll see you there.

The reception area needs refurbishing and may be a turnoff when you enter, but the room was very nice. My room had a full kitchenette, dining area, bed was comfortable and the ocean view was perfect. Staff were very friendly, a shout out to the restaurant manager, who even though the restaurant was closed, she still made me dinner. Overall a very good 8 days stay and will definitely come again. Perfect location.
