As the property is virtually on the bus transportation route, a car is not essential but most people elect to have one, especially for sight-seeing and travel to venues outside the immediate vicinity. For those preferring not to drive themselves, taxi service is readily available.
Within ten minutes by car are the Rockley Golf Club, the National Tennis Centre, the Garrison Historic Area (including the headquarters of the Barbados Defense Force and the Garrison Savannah horse racing track), and the Museum and Historical Society. It is about 15 minutes to the capital city Bridgetown and 20 minutes to the Grantley Adams International Airport. The South Coast of Barbados has great appeal to the visitor. It is vibrant, with great night-life and many excellent restaurants. Mojo's is next door and a short walk away is everyone's favourite Champers Restaurant and Wine Bar. The best known area is the popular St. Lawrence Gap where you can find many popular night clubs, restaurants and bars. Also within easy reach is Oistin’s Town, famous for its fresh fish fries and down-to-earth ambience.
