“We were made so welcome, a beautiful guest house, clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble.”

“Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last……

“Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. “Room was spotlessly clean. Very friendly and courteous staff. This hotel has a very comfortable and friendly feel to it. The cooked breakfast is well worth the money. Table service and freshly cooked and unlike some buffet style breakfasts it is piping hot. We have stayed in other hotels in the area and this is our favourite and the adjoining Italian restaurant is a great place for dinner. We also appreciate the free parking. Just returned from a 4 night stay and looking forward to our next……
