“My family and I decided to take a break from our fast military lifestyle, so we booked a weekend at this lovely cabin. Kelby and Markie were amazing hosts, and the communication and directions given were top-tier. The cabin itself was so cute and had everything you need. The game corner was a plus our kids loved it! Not to mention we were able to bring our pup with us. The location is amazing it's just a few min's drive to Ricketts State Park. Our family will be adding this to our list of……

“Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was cozy, the location was great, it felt remote which was what we wanted, and it was clean. The property was well stocked with wood for the fire, it had courtesy items like TP, paper towels, trash bags, kitchen items like pots and pans, and some condiment items. It had towels too (but we always bring our own). We hiked some really great trails in the surrounding state parks, and had an all around great time. Dog friendly too, which was a huge……

“Me and my two friends stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely home and had all the amenities we could have asked for. We had a fire on Friday. We brought our own wood because we weren’t sure if there was going to be wood available for us to use and to our surprise there was. We hiked all day on Saturday and then came back to the warmth of the house in the evening. We would definitely stay again.”

“A fantastic experience. The property is gorgeous, the room was private, comfortable (in-room climate control) and exceptionally clean. The proprietors, Michelle and Roger, were welcoming and helpful, guiding me to a great local restaurant for amazing food, a couple adult beverages and relaxing live entertainment. Breakfast was made to order and the coffee was spot on. I will absolutely be back! ”

“Many places say "dog friendly" until you read the fine print and it will be something like only 1 dog under 39.67 lbs. that lives mainly in a dog stroller and only barks in French on Tuesdays. Beechwood is NOT that place! We are big dog people, we are a 4 large to extra large dog family that love the outdoors.
