“Convenient hotel in Santiago. Easy check in with excellent English speaking staff member. Comfy and quiet room easily walkable to centre of town. Parking not included and nearby car parks are usual Spanish town centre prices but that is just the way things are in Spain. Hotel can arrange parking if you book in advance though (we didn’t have the sense to!). Some friendly local bars and other shops close by. Enjoyable stay!”

“The staff at the Tambre are lovely! It’s a family business and they will do anything to help. Breakfast is very good value with a great range of fruit, cakes and savoury options. It’s a 15 minutes walk to the cathedral.”

“This lovely boutique hotel is within walking distance to all the best things in Santiago. The lovely balcony is a nice spot to drink coffee and watch the pilgrims come into Santiago. Bed is very comfy and the shower is high tech! Definitely take time to use the message chair in the lobby.”

“We are a family of 5 and stayed in the family suite. The rooms were excellent, perfect size, had A/C, and each had their own bathroom. The breakfast was robust- many options including eggs, cheeses, meats, baked goods, fruit, juices, and fresh coffee. The location is perfect!! Close to everything or a 9-min walk to the train station to explore. Totally recommend this place!”
