The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff are all very considerate and helpful. I have to express special gratitude to the Concierge, Robin, who was incredibly helpful in getting us reservations at local sites. There is also a wonderful park across the street that is great for relaxing strolls around the lake and with statues of Chinese poets.

At every turn, they were incredibly friendly, professional, and immensely helpful. Our room (a suite) was perfect – elegantly appointed, spacious, impeccably clean, and with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would like to give a special mention to the hotel's Lounge. The food and beverage offerings were excellent, but what was particularly impressive was the staff in the lounge. They were so attentive, friendly, and discreet, making us feel truly valued. They are the true gem of this hotel. I highly recommend the Gran Melia to anyone seeking an authentic and luxurious experience in Xi'an. You will feel that your choice was the right one for the quality of service and comfort. We will definitely be returning.

Easy check-in and friendly reception staff. I stayed for one night in a twin room, which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and tasty but coffee was disappointing. Coffee aside, this is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location with very helpful staff. Thank you!

Hotel of choice when you are in Xian

The hotel located in Qu-Jiang District in South of Xian, which is close to few popular tourist destinations. The hotel has great room and facilities including indoor pool and gym. I got upgraded to the executive level and received VIP treatment. The executive floor was led by Berry Yang and her team, they provided impeccable services throughout my stay and truly my holidays even more enjoyable. I highly recommended Gran Melia when visiting Xi'an, it is great city to visit, the place is full of culture, history and great food! I had a great time in Xi'an and Gran Melia Hotel! 👍👍👍

Not far from Big Goose Pagoda

The room was super clean and spacious. We booked a suite with 1 queen and 1 twin. There is a mall in hotels back door. The Big Goose Pagoda is just one subway stop from the hotel. Our room was at 5th floor, it has a great view of the hotel garden.

Excellent hotel in Xi’an

We never heard of the hotel before but from the very arrival we were impressed. Had some challenges with Alipay for the taxi when we arrived but just walked in and was helped by the friendly staff. Celina the Lobby Manager greeted us and extremely helpful in checking in a travel tired family. The same goes for the Concierge team helping with arrangements on several occasions. The location is great, pool actually looks like the pictures and we really had a good stay.

The rooms are big and majestic and worth the amount paid per day just to come back to a relaxed environment after a long day of touring. The balcony excess and view from the Red Level was awesome but it is a pity that it is too cold in early December to be outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. A free upgrade as a first time hotel guest was unexpected and deeply appreciated. The heated indoor pool is a must for those who seek a great dip after a hard day's work or tour without freezing. Overall a wonderful experience. If visiting Xi'an again, a definite consideration.

This is a gem: part of an enormous shopping and activity group of buildings, endless choices of restaurants within 5 minutes of walking from the back door out of the lobby. If you WALK 20 minutes to Jindi Complex, the choice just got doubled. The trail around the lake is across the street. Take advantage and use it it.
