"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Beijing for a 10 days family vacation. I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. "It was close to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street which made it walkable. We also added the breakfast buffet and it was good to enough to fill you up for the day of activities. A bonus is the free self laundry and they provide free laundry detergent. Only downside is everyone uses it so there’s a queue for the dryer. I suggest adding a few more dryers. "
