"The service was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. Beautiful view and the pool was perfect size to just get wet and cool off. The restaurant was excellent as was the food.. The property is quite far from most things but is very quiet and peaceful.. please be aware there is no beach front. The resort is on a cliff. You will need to take transport to the beaches near by at other resorts. Things I would take note of that would have made me give 5 stars. 1. Any needs you have using a driver there is a service fee. I did not mind paying for the service as it was excellent. However it was not made clear that there was a service fee for any transport needs you may have during your stay. It was offered at every turn that our driver can take you wherever you need to go. But no mention of a fee much less how much the fee would be. How is the fee calculated? 2. The sun is very strong in the first half of the day, making the restaurant not very comfortable to sit and eat in.. maybe some blinds or sheer curtains as you have in the room to cut down on the blinding light. 3. The private pool is not so private as you can see them from the restaurant with no problem. Extending the tarps that are currently hung above the patio/pool area would ensure that you are not swimming with anyone from above looking down on you.. as the vibe is a couples resort.. Thank you Ariel, Stanley, JR and the staff you are all wonderful at your jobs. It is all of you that made our stay wonderful."

"The resort is a great value and is a tourist spot for many Bohol tours. The breakfast, ice cream and food was excellent I especially liked the fish and chips with lightly breaded Yellow fin tuna. I had to check out before breakfast time and the front desk arranged for me to have a delicious egg sandwich (made with their fresh baked bread) at 6 AM. I didn't even ask that is how attentive they are and I am grateful for their generous staff. The pool area was nice enough for me to work out my arms and legs, The restaurant overlooks the ocean and it was quiet at night for sleep. I highly recommend if you do not need to be at the busy Alina beach (which was a Tuk Tuk it scooter ride away)."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful home in Dauis, Panglao! The house was incredibly spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for our family. One of our favorite parts was the backyard and pool area. The pool was large, spotless, private and surrounded by stunning tropical plants, which made it feel like a private resort. It was such a nice feature to have after a day of doing excursions! We also loved relaxing on the terraces and taking in the gorgeous ocean views—such a peaceful way to start and end each day.A special highlight was the in-house massage service! I booked a massage with Astoria twice during our stay. Highly recommend trying it!Our on-site hosts, David and Allen, were truly exceptional. They were kind, attentive, and always quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Allen went above and beyond by helping us coordinate all of our excursions, including trips to Chocolate Hills, the Loboc River cruise, waterfalls, Alona Beach, Tagbilaran City, and Hinagdanan Cave. Everything was seamless thanks to his help.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve already recommended this place to our family and friends and would definitely love to return. Thank you so much to Kevin, Allen, and David for making our stay so memorable!"
