Bass Strait Breeze Yanakie is situated on a no-through dirt road, offering a peaceful and private location. This unique positioning ensures minimal traffic, creating a tranquil environment perfect for those seeking serenity and seclusion.
Enjoy all that country living has to offer whilst you have the convenience of our National Park - Wilsons Prom just minutes away.
This property comfortably sleeps 7 guests. Pets are welcomed, however we ask that you be mindful of the rural surroundings.
Enjoy a relaxing coffee on the verandah, which overlooks the lush native gardens. The area is alive with plentiful birdlife and wildlife. Glimpse cows and other farm animals from the surrounding properties that accompany this peaceful rural setting. Ideal for families, small groups or couples, this classic country home has all you need, for that home away from home feeling.

All bedding, linen & towels provided - just bring your own beach towels.

- Large Kitchen and dining space with a Coonara wood heater for the colder months, a small amount of wood is supplied for your stay.

The fences on the property are electrified farm fencing (non lethal) and any areas we ask guests not to access are roped off. Please respect our neighbouring properties & avoid loud music or disturbances.
- Neighborhood
Yanakie is located 5mins from the gateway to Wilsons Prom. A further 20 mins to Tidal River and Squeaky Beach - voted Australia's Best Beach. We are located between Corner Inlet and Shallow Inlet, not far from boat launches. We are lucky to be located in very close proximity to the General Store and a small walk to Prom Coast Pizza (and Bar) which has a great Pizza menu, perfect for late evening arrival to grab a quick bite on the go. Nearby Towns include Fish creek: Galleries, BP Service station, quirky shops + the Fishy Pub, Meeniyan: Local bakery hotspots, Op-shops, locally owned retail stores and more, Foster: Foodworks + IGA, local cafe's and trinket stores + The Exhange Hotel for a pub feed. There are plenty of Wineries and Cideries like: Waratah Hills, Gurneys Cidery, for day trips and events. Wherever you may venture to in our favourite part of South Gippsland, be sure to prepare, the locals are always up for a friendly yarn.
- Getting Around
Yanakie is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car. If you require electric vehicle charging, there is a charging station located 5min drive from the house at the Yanakie Community Hall. There are other locations in the area for electric vehicle charging, details of which can be found online.
- Other things to note
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
This property is on tank water and septic system.
