“This is a comfy, rustic cabin. It was so much better than staying in a hotel, as we cooked our meals, washed laundry, had more privacy with two bedrooms and saved a lot by chosing this. There was plenty of room for my son and his friend to visit us. ”

“It a cute cottage style house that is steps away from a beach on the lake. Very close to the neighbors. If you play the record player you will cause a noise alarm to go off which I was not aware of prio to staying there.”

“We used this cabin, as well as the other two locations on property during our wedding weekend, and it was the perfect hideaway as the bride and groom to escape to and relax. We had access to kayaks and paddle boards, the lake was beautiful. Our ceremony was held just outside in front of lovely Pattagansett Lake. It is a small, rustic cabin. We hope to return again in the future to celebrate anniversaries. Thanks again!”

“Our family stayed at this property while enjoying family weekend at UConn. The home was a nice distance between campus and fun activities. The house was clean and well stocked with amenities. We missed having a hot tub as was the reason we chose this home, but the views in the backyard were beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!”

“Al was an amazing host who answered all of my questions in a timely manner. He went above and beyond when it came to making sure there were sleeping arrangements for everyone in our group. “I took my adult children to the cabin as a part of their birthday present. The cabin was perfect for us. The property was great. The lake was beautiful. We took advantage of the sauna. We did a 3-mile run off the property and it was safe with almost zero traffic. We left the property and visited the State park for a hike and then went to Buttonwood ice cream. Overall we had a great time. I wish it had been just a little bit warmer. Would definitely go back again.”

“Loved the view of the pond from the various outdoor seating areas. The small dock was great for the best view and was fun to see the turtles. So peaceful, reminded us of a bird sanctuary. Michael and Ashleigh were very responsive to any inquiry we made. Kitchen nice size and well equipped for our stay. Especially enjoyed using one of the two fire pits for a relaxing evening under the stars. Thanks so much!”

"I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, Lisa at the front desk was great, upon check in I was told breakfast was served until 10am, however when I went to breakfast the next morning at 9am the food was basically gone, asked the restaurant staff and was told there was no more food, I checked my watch again and yes it was 9am!"
