This was the worst experience of my life.
The hosts are professional liars, unreasonable, and have zero hospitality.
They show no remorse and have no intention of improving.
Stranded in the Cold: We agreed to meet at 15:55 at the port because I had no internet.
I arrived at 14:30 to be safe, but they never showed up.
I waited in the freezing cold for over 2.5 hours.

“Turned up at the hotel and the doors were padlocked.
Called them on the number pinned to the door and they said they would be there in 1 hour. I returned in 1 hour and no one showed up.
Hotel.com were useless and have refused to refund me as they say I cancelled and the hotel needs to approve the refund in this instance.”

“This stay is on a floating island in Lake titicaca. As an experience it is amazing. However, be prepared that they only accept cash, the rooms are not heated, our stay on October 3rd 2024 was extremely cold. Nestor is a pleasant host, and gave us a tour of Uros island on our way back to shore.
Note that the showers have limited access to hot water, and the toilet is a dry toilet, also there is no WiFi and limited cellular signal.
Over all, the view and experience are amazing, but be prepared for……
