“Just like pictured. Helpful staff and close to all amenities. 6 minutes to old orchard beach.”

“Across the street from a great section of the beach- staff here were fantastic. Little hiccup with the reservation through expedia, but it got sorted right out with no stress. Rooms are clean, bed was suoer comfortable, and honestly of all things the shower was a family favorite! Will absolutely book here anytime we come to York again in the future!”

“It's an old property and needs a major makeover and upgrade. You can tell they have put all their money in the outside pool area. I had to kill 2 spiders in the bathtub, so they lost me there. No elevator, so we had pack all our luggage to the 3rd floor. It was clean and we were only there for one night. But if it had been longer, I would have switched to somewhere else.”

“If you like trains this place is for you. In all hours of the night it comes thru, shakes the building. Bars near by are loud, a lot of drunk people.”

“Sheets, pillows and towels needs to be replaced. Sheets were grey. Pillows overwashed and lumpy. Brown throw blanket between sheet and cover needs to be removed completely..didn't seem to be clean. Paint on entrance door was chipping. Damp smell in room. Would not stay again. Staff were friendly.”

“Room was dated but clean. Coffee all day. Continental breakfast was good. Pool was small and water was chilly.”

“These folks are so friendly and accommodating! They'll go ot out their way for you. Just don't nick pick at them, they're trying and its a family affair! The price is economical, you won't be disappointed, I mean, c'mon, you're 100yds from the beach, sit back and relax in the Adirondack chairs.”

“We love the Mariner! This was our second stay and we plan on coming back. It’s simple but clean and effective. They execute service well, keep it clean and have plenty of room while offering the basics. Coffee in the hot tub for breakfast is a must do!”

“Check-in was at four and then checkout was at 10… That’s a very difficult timeframe no time to enjoy the property. We paid extra to stay until 1130 and that was $25. Very nice property too bad it just wasn’t accessible for a longer stretch…it was nice, great location…they work hard.”
