"Great central location within York's walls, clean modern hotel with good facilities and comfortable rooms. Open plan lobby, bar, reception, restaurant with polished concrete floors and quirky seating. Good friendly service, one room was ready early which was also helpful. Drinks were good, but can't comment on food."

"Pros- Good pool. Great breakfast with wide variety. Lovely restaurant staff. Lovely maintenance staff. Good location a little away from the centre. Some nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for paid parking. Comfy beds. Accomodates kids well. Cons- Sewage smell from basin. Reception staff seem a little more overwhelmed than other staff. Signs of wear all over the room - carpets, broken lamp, superficial damage/scratches to bathtub. "

"Overall a bit disappointing. Upon arrival the car park entry and exit system was not working which caused issues. There were queues to check in. The room we had was always cold, with a broken unusable safe and a bed which had a large spring coming through the mattress. There was quite a bit of noise from weekend revellers outside which was loud even though we were on the fourth floor. The breakfast was okay but the cooked breakfast had no mushrooms. There were issues again upon departure with the car park exit barrier. I have stayed at Radisson hotels before and so my experience at the hotel in York was not how I had expected it to be. If staying in York again I would look for an alternative hotel."

"We upgraded at reception to a suite and had a nice sized room. Clean but maybe a little dated now. The bed was very comfy though and very quiet. Everything we needed in the room as well. The staff were brilliant and looked after bags etc before and after check in. A really nice stay for our Stendo weekend. Thank you. "
