“Our cottage was exactly as pictured and described. Our hostess left really good instructions and made sure we felt welcome with a personal note. The property location is absolutely perfect, close to restaurants, stores, and many shops; all within walking distance. It is a great hub for seeing the Moors, the Dales, and the Lake District. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. ”

“Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday……

“Really enjoyed staying here, it was nice to be so close to york city centre as it made it easier to plan the day and fit in more activities. Also, it allowed us to enjoy the nightlife without worrying about getting a taxi or a long walk back. The actual property itself was not so small you're struggling for space, but small enough that it didn't feel like we were occupying more realestate than we needed. The essentials like kitchen and bathroom were a good comfortable size. It was next to the……

“The property was perfect for what I needed for my weekend break. Walking into the city was only a couple of minutes. It was clean and comfortable. Parking is in zoned areas and not too far from the property. I would have no hesitation at staying there again”
