「No place to unpack clothes. No hangars in closet. Bare minimum on supplies (towels, toilet paper) no broom. Acorn mgmt not customer friendly. Furnace broken at a time of year a heater was needed. Space heaters barely adequate, temp in living area in the 50’s with the one working space heater in that area cranked up to 75. Had to shovel 6 inches of snow off 36 stairs to get stuff into unit. Booked 3 nights, only stayed one.」

「This gorgeous chalet retreat nestled among sequoias and pines was perfect for my family's first trip to Yosemite. We loved being in the park. This is close to the Mariposa Grove where you can hike a bit to some famous Giant Sequoia. It is about 40 min drive to Yosemite Valley, which was fine for us. We managed the stairs just fine. 「Comfortable and clean; having Wifi and air conditioning was great, especially in the July heat wave. Only note for families is that the Village Store is about 35 minutes away, so bring a cooler when grocery shopping. It was a great house for a family of 4, plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Would stay here again! 」

「Very clean, warm, and cozy. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Extensive bookshelf and puzzles (that all are missing pieces). Grateful they allowed our dog to stay with us. 「When we got there, we were impressed about how clean it was. There was just two of us but Chateau East had enough room for 8. It’s a little bit of a drive to the valley but the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Chateau East is a lower level. You’ll walk down about 8 steps and then on to a nice deck. 「The good - location. The bad: 1: gas fireplace would not stay lit more than 5 seconds. We had to use a space heater to heat room. 2: walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors on all sides. We were lucky enough to have a crying baby one one side, sick coughing couple on the other and loud walkers above. 3: mouse scurrying across the floor. 4: advertised as having propane grill, even with pictures of it on vrbo.
