「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.」

「The pictures don't do the apartment justice. It's even better in person. It was the perfect location. Easy walk to Downtown and Old Town with lots of nearby shops and eateries. The place was super cozy and very charming. It was a perfect getaway to celebrate my birthdya. Dined at Josephine. Stayed one night with just my husband and me. Had my friends come stay for a girl's night the next day. Perfect for both. 」

「The apartment was very basic, lacked a homey feel. For example, host could provide coffee. One bedroom, the quiet one, could use a night table and a lamp. The other room was hard to sleep in as the neighbors were very loud. The floor looked clean, but it wasn't the bottom of my feet were brown after walking barefoot. Paper towels and real glasses (not plastic) would be appreciated. 」
