“The property was not clean, and communication from the host was extremely poor. The host did not respond until I requested that the reservation be canceled. The following day, he informed me that he had apparently provided me with the key to the wrong cottage, which had not been cleaned or serviced. The cottage I had actually reserved did not have the key where the host's instructions indicated it would be. However, the cottage next door did have a key hidden under the garbage can exactly as……

“The house was lovely--loved the decor and furnishings, and it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. I loved watching the hummingbirds and jack rabbits in the morning from the porch. Check in and check out were both smooth and easy, and communication was prompt. Although the main house is right next door, with all the trees, it felt very private. A few minor issues:-Kitchen was missing potholders and dish towels-Some dishes had food residue and what looked like……

“Dean's Garage was a great place and the hosts were fantastic.”

“This place was amazing. The casita was clean with everything you needed and more available. The grounds were beutiful and the host was very detailed. I would definitely recommend it and I will be back.”

“An absolute gem in the woods! We had the most wonderful stay at Barnabas and Etonda’s cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The property is tucked away in such a peaceful, beautiful setting surrounded by nature—perfect for unwinding and taking in the quiet. The cottage itself is spotless, warm, and exceptionally well-stocked with every amenity you could possibly need. The highlight for us was the incredible hospitality—the fresh eggs and homemade sourdough bread were genuinely……

“The property was very nice. We thought we were going to bring our dogs and ended up having a sitter come through for us, but there would be plenty of room to bring pets. The property is a bit out of town but still close enough to be convenient. We had a great stay and would go back again!”

“Very nice place with some wonderful amenities! ”

“Really enjoyed the backyard and the peaceful setting. Thanks for having me!”

“Wonderful experience.”

“Perfect for a small family. The hosts were extremely nice especially to my 3 year old granddaughter. It’s a pleasant .4 mile walk to downtown Nevada City. I would definitely stay there again.”
