"Rancho Kuxtal feels like discovering an idyllic secret. It's so small and tucked away off the tourist route in Yucatan. Kasie and Victor are such welcoming hosts and we felt totally at ease. "The room was nice, clean and good size for the money. The breakfast was OK, but a little hard to navigate. There was a football tourney in town for kids. They used up the entire pool and the pool bar was not open. We had to yell at the kids running in the hall knocking on doors at 11pm. The sink stopper was stuck and the hair dryer did not work. In spite of asking the desk, they were not fixed. These are little things that make a four star into a 3."
