We stayed as it was an historic motel and thought it would be interesting. The patio table/chairs outside the room were very dirty. Inside the tub did not have a stopper, the sink was clogged and the lamp next to the bed did not have an outlet. The room was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable but the noise from the street was very loud.

We have stayed at this hotel, many times and find it to be well situated and having a certain term about it. We did notice this time that there was a very strong odour in our room, perhaps caused by some kind of cleaning solvent. But it was extremely unpleasant and hard to get used to. Also, the Internet was so weak in our room (room 128) that it didn’t work at all

Staff was nice, rooms were okay. Our room was next to the road, which was really loud all night with motorcycles, loud backfiring mufflers. We could also hear people talking through the walls at normal volume. First room didn't have working bathroom lights, the second room we were moved to didn't have a working bathroom vent. In the morning a homeless guy was sitting outside our room smoking and talking to himself. Just a sad scene.

the staff is overworked. there is trash in the parking lot. The breakfast is substandard. The toaster does not work plus some things were missing. The room seemed clean but could be upgraded. Could not figure out how to work climate control until the front desk person showed me how. Instructions should be provided to prevented frustration. Many Hispanic workers loitered in the public areas causing concern. Would not want to stay there again.

Our room was not ready during check in so the staff upgraded us! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was great. We had some issues with our dental appointment across the border so the staff gave us an extended late check out. They were extremely helpful and cared about our experience. The pool was nice, I would say the only slight downside was the upkeep on the exterior of the property. There was a bit of loose trash around the property. We traveled with our small dogs and had plenty of places around the area to walk them.

The card-key lock wouldn’t open the door unless the card was inserted MANY times quickly making me wonder if I’d be able to get in. There was no soap in the dispensers and one was hanging open. I had them refilled but the one hanging open made me wonder if the room cleaner had suddenly left. The A/C unit didn’t work at all, only the fan worked on low speed so I had to open the windows to get airflow and cool the room, forcing me to listen to traffic and repeated emergency sirens passing by on the street next to the room. There was a BIG stain in the carpet next to the door.

yes everything was great but the "new" management is a far cry from the original owners...I got to Yuma to fish , this is where I "always" stay....but the changes made has a large group re-thinking where we will stay....much smaler fridges in the rooms with a kitchenette, a full breakfast for guess?...deleted!....keys to the rooms rarely work!....repairs arnt timely like they used to be, remote control to tv rarely work....."It's just a whole different fell ....luckily...im easy....but everyone else in our 23 or more person group has been staying somewhere else..

Not terrible, but old and shows it. Needs better maintenance. The room was clean but smelled of chemicals. No refrigerator, no microwave. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. Plenty of hot water though. The bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast was very minimal and not good. The swimming pool has a bunch of junk at the bottom. The photos show a hot tub and a gym, but the hot tub is out of order and the gym does not exist.

I stood and waited for the desk employee for who knows how long to find my reservation. And it was long or I wouldn't be complaining about it. Im pretty patient. I was given a room next to very noisy people who were up all night going in and put of their room. With the size and number of rooms at this place I could have been at least two doors down. It was not a good stay. I have stayed here for many years, and been really satisfied, but I will venture out to a different hotel my next visit.
