Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!

We traveled from California to be with our family for the LSU game. We needed a house to accommodate all 18 of us. This place is absolutely perfect. The pool house was the perfect hang out spot for us to get together. There was so much for the adults and kids to do! We played tennis, corn hole, pool and putted on the course. There is plenty of room!!!!! Jim, the owner could not have been more accommodating. It was such a pleasure to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Highly recommend it!

Great place!

Nice cozy getaway, near Baton Rouge but very peaceful! Owner is very friendly and helpful! The property is nice with lots to do, great place for a mini reunion!

Family shenanigans

My family of 16 adults rented out this establishment. The club house is where the family hung out the most. We enjoyed the tennis court, basketball court, and pool table the most. The home itself is very outdated which would not have been so bad if there wasn’t a smell throughout the home. There were things we didn’t enjoy, which I will list. The owner was very defensive about his home in regards to our complaints to where he came to the home at 1:00 in the morning with police!! Then came back the next day and stayed on the site for several HOURS turning the hot water on in the club house which we had also complained about after 2 of the kids washed in cold water. Then he started fixing things and cleaning which made us even more uncomfortable and literally ruined our stay all the more! In the end, we made the most of our stay and enjoy the best fried chicken in town (provided by the owner!! ) Thanks Mr. Williams! 1. Took 45 minutes for owner to go through rules and show the facility. 2. House looked VERY lived in. Not clean!! ( I had to clean up when I first got there so that my mother wouldn’t be too uncomfortable. (Even after cleaning, we found old roaches in rooms and under beds) 3. The main house only has 3 bedrooms available for guests. (Other bedroom locked for owners use) 4. The room in the pool house has a sofa bed. So honestly, the house sleeps 8 adults comfortably. Sleeping mattresses are provided for anyone else to sleep together in the pool house area. (5 adults ended up renting a hotel and let the kids have the sleep mattresses) 5. NO locks worked in the main house at all! Not even the bathrooms. 6. The master bedroom doors, both the bedroom and bathroom, are hard to open and close. (My 70yr old mother got stuck in it) this bathroom is also available through the kitchen so not much privacy with a door that won’t shut all the way or lock.) 7. The vent in one bedroom did not open so it was hot and the bed was very uncomfortable. (Not good for people with bad backs!!!) 8. The pool was not clean nor did it seem to be treated.(Our family could not enjoy the pool as planned) 9. The sauna had several bags with items in them, which the owner cleared after we complained but we did not use it because it had not been cleaned. 10. If you want to use the tennis court when the sun goes down you must call the owner and have him turn on the lights.

Great Place for a Gathering

The property was great and offered a great number of activities. Jim, the property owner, could not have been any nicer or more accommodating, would recommend to anyone.
