We had to cancel our stay last minute due to a sudden illness, and the clerk at Hampton was very understanding. However, i had apparently booked through Expedia, and needed to contact them. Though their person was polite, the options were not satisfactory. The idea of paying an extra cancellation fee to receive a refund was preposterous! I will never knowingly book anything through Expedia again.
