Beautiful and charming detached house located in a quiet neighborhood close the festival. (Also ideally located to visit Brussels, Antwerp, Mechelen, Leuven, Gent, Bruges) The house has been completely renovated and has a nice garden with terrace. You'll find all the comfort you'll need to relax after a long day at the festival or visiting Flanders beautiful cities.

Absolute ramp!
Geen echt verblijf! Na verschillende berichten gestuurd naar de eigenaresse om te weten hoe we binnen de accommodatie konden komen, kregen we een heel rare antwoord de avond vóór onze aankomst. Ze annuleerde de reservatie van wegens schade aan de accommodatie! En het scheen dat het al bekend was maar er een communicatie fout was gebeurt. Dat kan natuurlijk gebeuren maar daar stopt het niet. We kregen een bericht van VRBO om een beoordeling te geven. Dus de bericht was absoluut niet doorgegeven. Toen moesten we zelfs de gebeurtenis bij VRBO aanmelden om ons geld terug te krijgen! Dit proces is gelukkig snel gegaan.

3 Tage vor Check-In abgesagt - Kein Geld zurück !!!
Als ich drei Tage vor dem Check-In nachgefragt hatte, wie dieser abläuft, wurde mir gesagt, dass das Objekt nicht zur Verfügung steht, wegen eines Sturmschadens. Mir wurde ein Bild von einem kaputten Brett an der Unterseite des Daches geschickt. Sah eher nach einer Macke aus, anstatt nach eine Schaden, der das Haus unbewohnbar machte. Mir wurde versprochen, dass ich das Geld wieder bekomme und seitdem (3 Wochen) erhalte ich keine Antwort auf meine Anfragen. Habe jetzt den PayPal Käuferschutz eingeschaltet und falls das nichts bringt, geht es zum Rechtsanwalt. Auch der FeWo Support aus Indien hat mir versprochen, dass alles gut wird und ich das Geld wieder bekomme. Auch seit 2 Wochen Stille. Ich nutze ab jetzt andere Plattformen. FeWo kann ich nur abraten.

Absage 2 Tage vor Anreise
Ich habe bereits Wochen vor der Anreise versucht Kontakt mit dem Vermieter aufzunehmen und nie eine Reaktion erhalten. Weder über das Portal noch auf mehrfacher Anrufe. 2 Tage vor der Anreise die Absage - angeblich Wasserschaden. Nun laufe ich seit 2 Wochen meinem Geld hinterher.

Could have been so much better!
We arrived at the property after minimal contact with the owners and no greeting or information left regarding the heating, rubbish collections and local amenities. The property is in a fairly poor state of repair, which is not reflected in the images used for the advertising. Some areas of the house were very dusty and had clearly not been cleaned for many weeks. The toilet in the main bathroom was missing the cover for the flush and a huge hole hole was left, exposing the inside of the cistern. The flush had to be operated by reaching into the cistern and pulling on the mechanism. There was a lovely looking bath tub that could not be used as the plug was broken and did not hold the water. The two sinks were also missing plugs so could not be used properly. The downstairs toilet seat was being held in place with some sealant and was very loose. The television in the living space could not be used as there was no remote control to be found anywhere. Two items of clothing were ripped by a damaged kitchen chair and a nail sticking out of the bedroom floor. The garden space was also in a similar state, with old and damaged furniture that was extremely weathered. On the day of departure we had no contact with the owner and just left the key under the front door mat as we had found it. This could have been a much more pleasant experience with some more care and attention.
