Excellent apartment, right in the centre by the church. Even had a good view of the Matterhorn when the clouds cleared. Being on the third floor the stairs could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommended. The beds were comfortable and the linen first class.

Phillip(manager) wasnt open to compromise. made reservation for the apt&tried to cancel. Philip has 30 day cancel policy& I canceled 29 days&18 hours.asked if we could cancel&be charged 1or2 night penalty. He wouldn’t discuss it&said it’s the rule.we ended up going. we are happy as we had a wonderful time in Zermatt. After we had unpacked we find out the oven is broken. We have a severe gluten allergy which is why we book apts as eating out can be a little difficult in some areas. philipp said it wasn’t possible to fix the oven during our stay. asked if we could get a nightly credit as now we would have to go out for dinner.has kitchenette-two induction burners&very small area to prep. We had planned on roast chicken&other easier items using an oven.we had to change our plan&go out for dinners which costs more. Phillip offered two apts to change.one apt was not nice&outside of town. The other apt was very nice but further from town&was told it was uphill&could be difficult for children. We have two kids&they had to carry their skis to&from the bus. In addition The idea of repacking& going to an apt out of the way was of no interest to us. We asked many times if we could have a nightly discount. Would’ve been happy with 25-50 euros off. Phillip wouldn’t even talk to us about it. I found him very rigid.I would never rent from Zermatt premium as I would fear if something goes wrong they will not be helpful.Good thing we rented through Expedia as they gave us a credit

Does the job, would not return.

Apartment was not very clean, just the basic clean completed - very dusty. Fridge door doesn’t close due to poor design. Strange setup for a ski apartment in that it had nowhere for ski storage. No setup for drying boots. The space had a strong sulphur smell that greeted you every time you entered. On the plus - well located, comfortable beds - decent kitchen equipment and laundry facility.

Schöne Wohnung mit kleinen Fehlern

Eigentlich eine schöne, kleine Wohnung mit super Lage und Blick auf das Matterhorn. Die Wohnung war leider nicht sehr gründlich gereinigt, u.a. Tierhaare auf dem Teppich, Verunreinigter Kühlschrank. Die Küche war sehr klein und dringend renovierungsbedürftigt, da alles klappert und lose ist. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter etwas kompliziert, da nur sehr wenig Informationen vorsb geteilt wurden (zB wie man die Wohnung findet, wie der Zugang läuft etc)

Bel appartement bien situé mais peu confortable

L’appartement est tres bien placé, sur la place de l’église. Un peu plus loin du départ de piste mais au cœur du village. La déco et l’état de l’appartement sont très bien mais les ustensiles de cuisine et la vaisselle est très limitée. Par de four (Sauf micro ondes), pas de caquelon a fondu, ni raclette, il faut prendre une échelle pour atteindre le four micro onde ou presque... les matelas ne sont pas très confortables non plus.

We loved our stay at Haus Kirchplatz 4. The accommodation was perfectly located within the town and walkable to all key attractions. The apartment itself was cosy and very well maintained. We also loved having the view of the Matterhorn from the window in the living room.

Great location and really cute Swiss Chalet

Loved everything about it! Great location in the middle of town center. Clean, new, cozy Swiss chalet that my family really enjoyed spending 4 days in Zermatt. We are planning to return for sure.

Top Lage, leichte Mängel bei der Einrichtung

Lage ist top, sehr zentral, Apartment ist für den Preis über Ostern aber überteuert, Einrichtung ist nicht durchgehend passend, teilweise qualitativ nicht so gut verarbeitet und stilistisch nicht passend. Kein Abholservice, das ist auch ein Minuspunkt. Trotzdem hat uns der Urlaub insgesamt gut gefallen.

Fabulous apartment for four days in July

Fabulous four days in Zermatt in July, the apartment was perfect, not especially big but it suited our needs, it is in the old town of Zermatt and I rather suspect they couldn't do much about room sizes or ceiling heights - my husband who is 6ft found the shower a slight challenge! Everything was clean and in very good condition but also the owners had been sympathetic to the traditional features and incorporated them wonderfully with the contemporary theme. We couldn't have asked for a better location - especially with two children who were worn out from all the outdoor activities, we were right in the centre near all the restaurants and shops.
