“Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. There were lots of extras - we particularly liked the biscuits - and the tea and coffee making facilities were great. “Was greated by a nice young welcoming guy. He was friendly and attentive. Settled in micely in a good room, nice walk in shower. Shower couldve been a bit more powerful, but wasgood enough. The bar was nice though felt a bit chilly and there was lingering musky smell... beer was kept in good conditions and a nice cider. Food was lovely and nicely cooked. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of coffee and lots of orange juice. Would recommend this place.”
