"There was a suite flat above a restaurant, and the smell of food could be felt throughout the unit and was annoying. During the day, the suite was like a steam sauna because it was all windows and above the roof. Despite two small air conditioners and a fan, it was unbearable. However, the view from the room was incredibly beautiful and tempting. There was no shampoo and the unit was full of insects coming from the lake because there was no fan and you had to keep the window open all the time....

"Excellent communication from start to finish With map and tram details to get to apartment. In a great location 2 minute walk to lake and a lovely 15 minute stroll to centre or a tram just outside. Room had everything you needed and got cleaned within our stay which doesnt normally happen in an apartment. Staff were friendly and when my travel plug didn’t work they were on hand with a spare which I could keep for whole of trip. If we ever visit Zurich again I would definitely stay here."

Also, there was construction work going on just outside so there wasn’t much sleeping in. There was cleaning staff each day so that was nice and unexpected for an apartment stay. "Nice historic hotel with a great location. We only stayed one night in a double. Rooms are nice, but small and very warm. Taking a shower steams the room and there was a bit of mold on the curtains and shower walls. Bed was comfortable and they have a pillow menu."
