My best experience along the Basque Coast, I have visited here before, but off season was incredible, the staff were beyond perfect, my ocean front room was beyond what I expected….. as a street photographer, Getaria rates highly, along with Bermeo and my favourite Cadiz

Room was in the lobby, next to the front desk and front door of hotel. You could hear when anyone entered, exited and talked to the front desk reception
