We had a wonderful stay on the Queen Mary. All of the staff were awesome. Rooms are exactly what they were when boat docked permanently in Long Beach in 1967. The lad at check in was lovely, the property was clean. I stayed with my spouse, the bed was split and wildly uncomfortable. The toilet was so hard to flush I nearly broke my arm. I was woken at 9 am to the sound of a drill hammering through my wall which lasted about an hour. No air conditioning ...

The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. ...
