We had a great stay at Crowne Plaza Republique in April. The hotel is located in a good part of Paris and is quite accessible. The breakfast was excellent but what made me write this review and give it 5 stars is the staff. Our son had a bad bout of food poisoning the night before our flight back to the US. He was throwing up all night and we had to call the front desk at 2 am and they came and cleaned the toilet and the bathroom and changed the sheets and the bedding in the middle of the night so we could still try and get a couple hours of sleep before heading to the airport. They even tried to see if they could give us another room but the hotel was totally booked. I was very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy especially given how late in the night it was and they helped without any hesitation. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Paris.

Amazing and beautiful place to stay

The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, so the exterior was not very appealing. We stayed on the first floor, and unfortunately the view from our window was disappointing—it overlooked a lower rooftop that had visible garbage. That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge was decent. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, but a key drawback—at least for our room—was the unpleasant window view.

This is a quiet, charming Parisian style apartment hotel. Our cozy suite was perfectly located on the 2nd floor corner overlooking the fountains and trees at the base of Ave de L’Opera. Lots of people watching and just minutes from the Louvre and the Seine river. Our suite had a galley kitchen with a small fridge, cooktop, dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The lounge has a 24hr automated espresso/coffee machine as well as an afternoon bar self-service($). We didn’t have breakfast in the Lounge as we’re not big breakfast people. The front desk folks were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately there was no early check available and they did mid-tag our luggage for another room but that got sorted out quickly. It’s very quiet in the reception / seating area with never more than a few guests at a time. The lounge/room staff were also friendly and helpful. Any time we called the front desk to restock room items, they responded immediately. This hotel exceeded our expectations and the location was absolutely perfect.

The lobby was under construction, we got in early and was never allowed to check in early insure of rooms being available. The receptionist Baptiste had no idea of what he was doing, he also lacks empathy and compassion. The lobby was dusty and noisy which was due to their construction. The room 7080 air condition was broken and no one ever showed up in the 6 days to fix it. It was hot and miserable.
