A wonderful hotel right from the moment of arrival. Clean. Pleasant atmosphere. Good washers and dryers on the 13th floor.
Very comfortable rooms with nice pajamas.
Excellent, varied breakfast.

I don’t know how may good things I can say about staying here.
From an amazing welcome from the bellboy when I arrived to an extremely friendly staff at the desk.
The room was above and beyond!
So clean, well stocked. Giant bathroom and extremely spacious sleeping place with a window and garden view. Did I mention extremely spacious.
I don’t know how I would’ve survived my trip without the concierge.
The women that were working during my stay went above and beyond to make sure everything I did was perfect
From scheduling the most amazing private tour, to helping to get medicine when I was ill.(amazing restaurant, recommendations, salon, and spa recommendations,
Also the spa here, absolutely amazing!
Always greeting with a smile and such gratitude
I’ll be making Hyatt one of my regular stays from now on because of the staff and Care here in Kyoto:)

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,000 reviews)
Our issue was very specific and might not affect most. There were limited gluten free options in the restaurants for lunch and dinner. Although you can convince a chef in other places to grill fish or steak easily, it was not an option here, at least in the common restaurant. Breakfast was better. They had gluten free bread and many options. Also, all restaurants (there are two other special ones) close rather early. But other than these (which might not be a big issue for most) a really good hotel. Fantastic staff.
