Staff were good if a bit clinical in general.
But a very nice touch - a birthday cake was delivered to our room because they noticed we had a birthday in our group! (Likely due to guest registration details.)
Room itself was superb - good fit-out, good condition, and faultless air-con and shower.
Gym was the best I've seen in a hotel anywhere in the world! Good range of equipment, well-maintained.
Only negative was the swimming pool - it wasn't in the best shape and could do with a freshen up.

Cost me 14 dollars for a coffee in the bar..?? Wasn't even nice.Food in Harvest restaurant was amazing..Pool was beautiful and always had it to myself.Bring a swimming cap.Spotlessly clean hotel close to everything..

I had a great time staying at the Regent Beijing. The staff were wonderful and making sure everything was perfect. The hotel location is just next to Dengshikou station and being able to just walk over to Wangfujing was incredibly convenient. Highly recommend it if you want a hassle-free trip!
