The managers need complete retraining or higher managers that are way more capable in dealing with customers and not fighting and arguing with them and telling them they’re wrong

The location was perfect. Having stayed in other Grand Hyatt properties, I would say this stay in New York fell short of my expectations. I was told that I dont get to enjoy perks (Im a Hyatt WOW Discoverist) because I booked through Expedia. Also, the minimum service of providing for slippers was not met. For me, that is very basic. When I asked assistance for someone to help me in my luggage, there was a blatant refusal to help, instead I was told to use the elevator. The high level of service is lacking and missing. The only thing I appreciated most is the location. I stayed in Hyatt Centric Midtown prior to this property and I felt the service there was better.
