Gippsland All inclusive Holidays

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable if a bit springy. The breakfast was an acceptable quality buffet, though the 10am close on a Sunday was a little early

Clean and tidy in both rooms and common areas with some lovely decorations up for Easter. Buffet breakfast had a good selection available and the chef was friendly and also happy to also cook omelette for guests if requested. The lifts are painfully slow even though there are 2 banks of lifts - it’s like it needs to power on each time you press the button.

We had a staycation, the hotel was excellent with stylish rooms and all the comforts you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The rooftop bar served great cocktails with an impressive view of the city. Highly recommend.

Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne.

Reception staff were terrible at check in time. If you can, avoid checking in at 2pm. There were almost 10 parties waiting to check in and there was no system to identify who was waiting first. There was only 1 staff at the check in table at 2pm. Staff told some patrons to sit and wait while new patrons stood in line. Once they were ready to check someone new in, they called from the line rather than people sitting and waiting. When challenged, the staff were defensive and offered no apology for the error and wait time. Insgead, they argued with the customers and said they weren't aware since they were on their lunch break. The staff did not communicate to each other and no apologies were made.

A lovely new hotel in a central location. Really comfortable modern room.
